About

Created by a parent of an autistic teen girl.

Quiet Milestones started at a kitchen table, with a pile of puberty books that didn't work for our daughter.

They were full of jokes, vague phrases and "you'll understand when it happens." Our daughter needed the opposite: exact words, the steps in order, and time to practice before anything changed. So we started writing our own stories and checklists, testing them at home, and rewriting whatever confused her.

Those pages became the Puberty Kit. We're sharing them so other families don't have to start from zero.

What we believe

  • Clear is kind. Literal language isn't childish. It's respectful.
  • Preparation lowers anxiety. Knowing what will happen, and what to do, makes new things less scary.
  • Autistic kids don't need fixing. Our goal is understanding and safety, not "acting normal."
  • Parents need support too. Every kit includes a guide for you, not only materials for your child.

What we are not

We are parents, not doctors or therapists. Our resources are educational and organizational tools. They don't replace advice from your child's doctor, therapist or school team.
